Pollchat – Child Safety & Protection Policy

At Pollchat, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and responsible social polling platform. Protecting children and minors from harm, abuse, and exploitation is a top priority for us. We enforce strict safety rules, moderation practices, and reporting mechanisms to maintain a secure environment.

1. Age Eligibility

  • Pollchat is not intended for children under the age of 13.

  • Users aged 13 to 17 are classified as minors and are subject to additional safety protections.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

  • If an underage account is identified, it is immediately removed along with any associated data.

2. Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE)

Pollchat enforces zero tolerance toward any form of:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

  • Sexual content involving minors

  • Grooming, harassment, or exploitation of minors

  • Any attempt to solicit, manipulate, or harm a minor

Any violation of this policy results in:

  • Immediate content removal

  • Permanent account termination

  • Reporting to relevant authorities when legally required

3. Content Moderation & Safety Systems

To protect all users—especially minors—Pollchat uses a layered safety approach:

  • Automated detection systems to identify harmful or explicit content

  • Manual moderation for reported posts and accounts

  • Community reporting tools for fast flagging of violations

The following content is strictly prohibited:

  • Sexual or suggestive content involving minors

  • Nudity or explicit imagery

  • Violence, abuse, hate, or harassment

  • Any content that endangers child safety

4. Reporting & Blocking Tools

Pollchat provides easy-to-use safety controls:

  • Users can report polls, comments, or accounts directly within the app

  • Users can block other users to prevent interaction

  • All child safety reports are treated as high priority and reviewed urgently

5. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

Pollchat fully cooperates with:

  • Law enforcement agencies

  • Child protection authorities

  • Legal and regulatory bodies

Where legally required, confirmed CSAE cases may be reported to appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Data Privacy & Protection for Minors

  • Pollchat collects only the minimum data required to operate the app

  • We do not allow targeted advertising based on sensitive data for minors

  • Data belonging to minors is handled with enhanced security and confidentiality
